Good reasons for the KUBIK7
Net list prices of mid-size diesel vans (VW Transporter, Ford Transit Custom) sit about €10,900 above the KUBIK7; EU electric vans €9,000 – 28,000 above.
About €0.06/km on commercial power instead of about €0.18/km on diesel – roughly €3,600 saved at 30,000 km a year, every year.
1,200 kg and 6.9 m³ – more payload than a Vito, Transporter-class volume, and at 3.06 t GVW it drives on a category B licence.
75 % first-year write-off, 10 % light-commercial duty included – none of the passenger-car countervailing duties.

How it is calculated: purchase price once per van; energy = km × consumption × price; maintenance and vehicle tax per van and year; no VAT. Vehicle tax: battery-electric vans first registered in Germany by 31 Dec 2030 are exempt for up to ten years, until 31 Dec 2035 at the latest, so the holding period is capped at 9 years. The diesel default of €204 is the weight-based tax for a 3.5 t van registered as a goods vehicle. Default prices: electricity €0.2503/kWh (Strom-Report commercial tariff, 28 Oct 2026), diesel €1.895/l net (ADAC weekly average of €2.255/l incl. 19 % VAT, 21 Oct 2026), diesel van €37,800 net (VW Transporter T7 / Ford Transit Custom list price). The KUBIK7 consumption of 23.6 kWh/100 km is the WLTP figure. Both maintenance figures are rough estimates without a source. Warranty on vehicle, drive and battery
The warrantor is Auto China GmbH in Munich. The warranty is for business customers and expressly includes commercial use. Whichever limit is reached first applies: time or distance.

What fleet buyers ask
How much is the KUBIK7?
The list price is €26,900 net, which is €32,011 including 19 % German VAT. The 11 kW wallbox is an extra, at an indicative €890 net.
What warranty does the electric van have?
Vehicle, drive and high-voltage components: 3 years or 60,000 km. High-voltage battery: 5 years or 120,000 km. Whichever comes first applies. The full terms are on the warranty page.
How far does the KUBIK7 really go?
On WLTP it is 240 km combined and 209 km on the city cycle, at 23.6 kWh/100 km. Expect less in winter and at full load.
Is it suitable for the motorway?
Only to a limited extent. Top speed is 80 km/h according to the manufacturer manual. The KUBIK7 is built for urban and regional work, not regular long motorway runs.
Can I drive it on a category B licence?
Yes. Its gross vehicle weight of 3,060 kg is below the 3.5 t limit for category B.
Can the KUBIK7 tow a trailer?
No. No trailer load is approved for the KUBIK7.
How long does charging take?
At a DC charger with CCS, 20 to 80 % takes about 45 minutes. On a wallbox it charges at up to 6.6 kW AC.
Does the 75 % write-off apply?
German § 7 (2a) EStG allows up to 75 % first-year depreciation on new electric vehicles held as business assets and acquired from July 2025 to December 2027. Please have your tax adviser confirm how it applies to your company.
